About
Hello, my name is Hosam (pronounced who sam) and I’m a teacher, writer and an entrepreneur of sorts. I hold an MA in education from New Jersey City University a BA in History from Rutgers Newark as well as two New Jersey teacher certifications in Social Studies and ESL.
Since 2002 I’ve been involved in education including my diverse experience teaching English in public and private schools. I’ve taught young recent immigrants in after school programs and I currently teach adults in college.
I am most interested in educational research, especially in educational history. My MA thesis concentrated on commonalities between classical and traditional educational methods across various civilizations. This has served as inspiration for my unique educational style.
